Red Hat launches OpenStack Platform 8

|

As companies are being in a way “demanded constantly” by customers to improve and follow new paths that will in turn get them ahead of their competitors, more and more businesses are thinking out of the box, launching new products, and taking further steps day by day. Just recently, Red Hat launched Red Hat Cloud Suite and OpenStack Platform 8.

Admitting that a business does better when its cloud performs better Red Hat explains on its official site that not every OpenStack cloud can meet up their customer’s expectations. “IT is being challenged to react faster to growing customer demands. So to meet the requirements of their end users, IT organizations are increasingly turning to Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) private clouds for their ability to swiftly deploy and scale IT infrastructure.

But not every OpenStack® cloud stands up to the demands of a production-scale environment or can meet your performance, scalability, and security standards. Red Hat® OpenStack Platform does, and will help give you the competitive advantage you need to meet customer demands.”

Among some of the benefits of OpenStack Platform 8 are Clouds that scale up to tens of thousands of systems, co-engineered and integrated performance, managed cloud, build-in security, fast results offering in the meantime to customers anything they need whenever they need it and allowing them to move to open technologies while continuing to use their current infrastructure investments. And all of these benefits come with a bonus of keeping customer updated and always in the know.

“With Red Hat OpenStack Platform, you get all the benefits you expect from Red Hat Enterprise Linux, plus the fastest-growing cloud infrastructure platform from OpenStack—both co-engineered to work seamlessly together. Because OpenStack is dependent on its underlying Linux operating system for everything from service operation and access, to hardware resources, to system performance, stability, and security, Red Hat OpenStack Platform delivers the next-generation core IaaS and secondary IaaS+ infrastructure for your private or public cloud,” according to Red Hat official website.

To help their users even further, Red Hat suggests their customers to add Red Hat products such as:  Ceph Storage, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloudforms, cloud Suite, Openshift Enterprise, and Enterprise  Linux  to enhance their experience with Red Hat.

“Red Hat OpenStack Platform gives us 35% greater operational efficiency than before. We can now scale to handle many more clients with the same staffing levels and quality of support,” according to Dualtech Cloud Builders Founder and Chief Executive Officer Lauro de Lauro.
